We recommend using the
df -h command to check disk space utilization for a Magento Commerce (Cloud) environment (Integration/Development, Staging, Production).
df (disk free) is a standard Unix command used to report the amount of available disk space being used by file systems. The
-h key is used to display the report using human-readable format (KB, MB, or GB).
- SSH to the needed environment.
- Type in the command:
- The table with disk space usage is displayed.
- In the table, check the Mounted on column and find the row with the directory, mounted on
/mnt. This directory represents the environment, so this table row contains the information about the disk usage of the environment.
Hint: You may limit the disk usage report to the
var/ directory only:
df -h var/
