Hey! You need Admin permissions to do this.
Remember the days when you had to export your financial data into a spreadsheet, then make sure that spreadsheet was formatted correctly, and then manually upload that spreadsheet for analysis? Exciting news: those days are over.
Your business finances can now live right alongside your sales and marketing data, allowing you to quickly and easily keep tabs on your expenses, identify overspending, and more.
With just a few clicks, you can connect your Intuit Quickbooks data to Magento BI:
Add Quickbooks as a data source in Magento BI
- Go to the Connections page under Manage Data > Connections.
- Click the Add a Data Source button, located on the right side of the screen above the Data Sources table.
- Click the Quickbooks icon. This will display the Quickbooks authorization page.
- Click the Connect to Quickbooks button.
Grant Magento BI access to your Quickbooks data
After clicking the Connect to Quickbooks button, you'll be asked to sign into your Intuit account and authorize the connection:
Click the Authorize button.
The connection may take a few minutes to complete, so be patient. You'll be redirected back to Magento BI after the process finishes; a Connection Successful! message will display at the top of the screen.
